Carrie Liu

CSAC, CPS, HeartMath® Certified Practitioner

As a professional dedicated to aiding individuals in overcoming addiction issues, I recognize the common struggle of losing sight of one's aspirations when grappling with alcohol and substance use.

My mission revolves around guiding individuals in uncovering their personal goals and paving the way for them to effectively achieve those aims. Through a compassionate and supportive approach to counseling, I assist patients in delving into their inner calling and assessing whether their actions align with their desired outcomes, or if adjustments are necessary. I utilize therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and HeartMath® to complement my counseling style.

With a wealth of experience exceeding 6 years, I eagerly anticipate witnessing the progress my patients can make through collaborative efforts.

My academic background features a distinguished achievement of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, attaining Magna Cum Laude distinction at Bellevue University in Nebraska. Complementing this, I hold an associate in applied science in Human Services, along with an AODA certification, both recognized with District Honors and Dean’s List accolades from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have further enhanced my expertise through specialized training and certifications in Moral Reconation Therapy facilitation, Peer Specialist Certification, HeartMath® Practitioner Certification and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

I provide counseling services at the Kenosha office location.
